An Introduction to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and the Use of Acupressure Points in Reflexology Treatments

This one-day course covers the main principles of TCM, the meridians, acupressure points on the feet and hands and how to incorporate use of these in reflexology treatments. It also provides an introduction to the TCM Five Elements and how these are used in energetic diagnosis. A comprehensive workbook will be provided and a CDRom of relevant and other techniques will be available for purchase at moderate cost. This is a vast subject. The intention is to provide enough information and hands-on practice for reflexologists to successfully enhance their treatments and provide a basis, if so inspired, to go on and learn more from further reading and personal research. Attendees should bring wipes and reflexology cream. The course is preceded by discussion of recent research into the existence of universal energy.
