Reflexology Practitioner's Diploma
This Raworth course offers the very best mixture of practical and theory classes, which allow you to develop excellent techniques and skills in reflexology. There is a strong emphasis on the holistic approach to treatment and the importance of client handling skills (with invaluable help from a core module in counselling skills).
Because reflexology is a complementary therapy, a basic understanding of anatomy, physiology and common conditions (pathophysiology) is vital and is therefore covered in core modules. These are further enhanced by workshops on nutrition and how to run your practice (Practice Management).
In the later stages of the course, while working through the pathophysiology and counselling skills modules you will have the option to attend extra sessions in some of the more advanced aspects of applying reflexology. These include Ayurvedic Five Elements and Chakra work, Traditional Chinese Medicine principles and the use of acupressure points, as well as the application of reflexology for conception and maternity situations.
A significant amount of case study and clinic work provides scope for tutor observation, discussion and feedback so that by the end of the course you have complete confidence in treating clients.
The course is designed not only to give you a solid foundation from which to begin practising but to provide a challenge and inspiration to become a successful, caring, holistic therapist. We have many testimonials from past students confirming the value of our approach in allowing them to become busy and highly respected therapists.
The course is fully accredited by the International Federation of Reflexologists.
