Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and Short Courses

We have an extensive programme of further study and advanced courses that are popular with our graduates and also with other professional therapists who have completed their initial training elsewhere. Also, when you become a member of a professional body, you usually need to show evidence of an agreed amount of CPD. Many of our CPD courses can be used in this way.

Don't forget you can claim a 10% discount on all CPD courses if you are a member of the Raworth Guild of Graduates.

In addition to the published schedule of CPD programmes, you can enrol on any individual programme module, providing you have the necessary pre-requisite modules For example, the core modules in counselling level one or pathophysiology may be of interest to you if you have obtained a therapy qualification elsewhere, which did not contain these modules. You may also be interested to extend your current area of knowledge in a slightly different direction. For example, if you have an aromatherapy diploma, you could study a module of herbal medicine.

We will also be offering CPD courses as part of the 'Grandparenting' agreements, coming into play with some professional bodies. 'Grandparenting' allows you to 'top up' your existing qualification to meet new higher standards set by the professional body and use this training to fulfil your CPD requirement.
